Maxwell AFB

Well, Micah and I are still enjoying our time at Maxwell. We have met two other couples that we have been spending a lot of time with- which is awesome! We have had fun going out to dinner, functions, and just hanging out with them. Micah has been very busy with his class, so I have been trying to keep myself busy with things other than sitting around the room all day. I have gone to several spouse functions. For example, today I attended a class called Heartlink. I was able to learn all about the Air Force and what it means to be an Air Force wife.
I'm trying to get back into exercising, so I have gone to the gym (not so much fun), but one of my friends here convinced me to go swimming with her. I forgot how much fun swimming is! I haven't worked out in the pool in years, but I had so much fun and I look forward to more swim workouts. We have 5 more weeks here, and we are excited for those and for them to be over so that we can get up to Boston! I will try to get some pictures on here soon!

Montgomery, AL!

Well, Micah and I are in Montgomery, AL for his ASBC course. We were a little nervous about what out room would look like, but we are pretty happy with it. Here's some pictures!

We will let you know more about Montgomery once we learn some about it!

More friends we are going to miss!

We want to thank Mandy, Cole, and Payton for allowing us to stay at their house for our last weekend in Birmingham. We don't know what we will do without them!

Fun new things!

Well, I am so thankful that Micah likes to buy new things!!!! (Because I do too!!!) We want to have nice things that will last us a long time (we still have some of the same things in our house that each of us had before we got married). Now that we are moving into our new house, Micah is letting me pick out a lot of new things! :-) YAY! In the last few weeks, we have gotten a new bedroom set:Mandy says that it will remind me of the south on those long, cold Boston nights! We were able to get this set in a king size- finally! We are so excited to have a BIG bed!

Tonight we were so lucky to get new cookware! We still had that stuff that Micah bought when he was a bachelor, and it has lasted us almost three years in marriage, but it is starting to get nasty. We also don't like it because you can't put it in the dishwasher. So we got this 14-piece set made by Emerilware (All-Clad)!! I have been watching a lot of Food Network, so I can't wait to use this brand new beautiful cookware!

Praise the Lord for our pretty new things!
